Yoga World Reach and Yoga Trayadala Present:

Spring Cleanse Yoga Retreat

                may 11-17, 2009

on Maui

It is time to start fresh-

-time to clear away physical and mental toxins.

Take a dip into the healing waters of Hana. Let the sun reenergize your heart.

Allow“the blissipline” to rejuvenate your mind, body, and spirit.

It is Time!

Yoga

It is especially important to balance kapha in the spring, Kapha accumulates during winter and can cause stagnancy in the body which can lead to toxic build up.

We will practice asana to shed excess winter Kapha and sweat out impurities. Yoga classes will be offered twice daily, in the morning and late afternoon.

Pancha Karma

Pancha karma is an Ayurvedic cleansing and rejuvenation practice. It was developed in India to prolong life and health by removing physical impurities, bringing awareness to destructive thoughts and behaviors, and releasing old patterns. Pancha Karma is typically done once a year for disease prevention and for emotional and spiritual growth. It is time!

Diet

An Ayurvedic diet of fruits, nuts, vegetables, and grains are especially helpful during cleansing. We will have fresh detoxifying meals three times a day, including sweet juicy fruits, steamed leafy greens; and

Lassi made with fresh yogurt, juices and digestion-boosting spices.

Massage and Body Brushing

Massage can be use for detoxification, to combat fatigue and boost general well-being. Using Trayadala’s detoxifying blend of essential oils, including lemon, grapefruit and juniper, specific techniques are applied to stimulate the circulation of lymphatic system and speed up the removal of wastes from all over the body. This treatment also promotes a healthy nervous system by reducing sympathetic activity. It stimulates the defense of the immune system and increases the flow and volume of lymphatic fluid.

The skin is the largest organ of the body, and the largest area from which toxins are eliminated. Body brushing not only removes the build up of dead skin cells but improves the circulation of blood and lymph, which

helps the body in its removal of cellular waste.

You will receive two complete 1-hour Detox massage treatments throughout the week.

Beaches

Hana offers some of Maui’s best beaches.

Hamoa Beach is surrounded by dramatic cliffs and beautiful tropical plants and flowers.

The secluded Red Sand Beach is an adventurous destination. The Hana Bay Beach is usually a safe place to swim if the waves are too large elsewhere.

Hiking

We will hike in Haleakala National Park and visit the Seven Sacred Pools which are magical for swimming!

We will also have ample time to explore the Hana Maui Botanical Gardens for an extra boost of O2 and to energize the Anahata Chakra.

Lodging

The Hana Coast is the last undeveloped tropical paradise on Maui. Hana has been saved from progress by the Hana Road, which in 52 serpentine miles winds around 600 curves and crosses 54 one-lane bridges. The charm of Hana Town is that little has changed in the past 30 years, perpetuating the small town atmosphere, Hawaiian culture and scenic beauty.

Hana Gardenland is a lush paradise retreat blessed by rainfall, sunshine and fresh breezes. Grassy pathways meander through tropical gardens and woods. From here, you can relax and visit some remarkable waterscapes along the Hana Coast.
