“This meditation for the nation is significant to me because every time I open the news paper, every time I go to a café and see the spill on CNN, I feel so helpless and hopeless…and angry.  I feel like I absorb the pain that is going on, and leave feeling terribly.

This meditation is not about absorbing and internalizing the pain and suffering that is going on, but about manifesting and projecting a deep love and healing energy outward, to help create part of what the solution entails.

I will meditate on wisdom and integrity for our leaders, healing for our waters and animals, and peace for the people of the region and the world who have been affected by this tragedy.”

~ organizer Sarah Brewer

Thank you for joining in Nov. ’08 and July ‘09, as we collectively gathered our yoga community to raise the vibration of the Nation and set our hearts’  intention on

Universal Love!

Unity is Power.

It was amazing to witness our ability to gather so much awareness in only one weekend's time. You are all a living testament to the power of community.

In past years, we offered our energetic support through meditation for National courage, compassion, integrity and wisdom. NOW, let's remember our human unity and intrinsic inner power as we join together in heart and mind for the health of our Gulf waters!

On April 20, 2010, an explosion occurred on a semi-submersible offshore drilling rig in the Gulf of Mexico, killing 11 rig workers and injuring 17 others. On April 24, it was discovered that the wellhead was damaged and leaking oil into the Gulf. The worst oil spill in U.S. history continues to present a devastating threat to wildlife, affecting as many as 400 species along the coastal areas of Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Florida. This tragedy effects everyone as our vital waters are at risk.

Yet, we know that we can manifest healing through the power of our Intention.

Let’s suspend fear and anger and create a powerful vibration of healing energy.

We know that water responds to the forces of energy.

Together, we can effect positive change with a Unified pulsation of Universal LOVE!

Join together in HEARTFUL meditation to support a cleaner tomorrow.

Namaste.

If your name is already on the list,

please join us again for another intentional gathering.

Join us from wherever you are in the world.

Join us as a community or as an individual part of the collective.

Join us in mindful meditation.

Dr. Masaru Emoto on Healing the Gulf

This prayer from Dr. Masaru Emoto, the author of "The Hidden Messages in Water" presents inspiration for all of us.

Dr. Masaru Emoto is the Japanese scientist who has researched and written about how thoughts and words (essentially energetic vibrations) affect the molecular structure water. He found that water vessels covered with the word "love" freeze into symmetrical, beautiful crystals, while those covered in words like "hate" create deformed, uneven patterns.

Instead of sending our anger, fear or worry energies, when we think of the spill, we can send the power of loving, grateful healing energy.

"Now let's give energy of love and gratitude to the waters and all the living creatures in Mexico Gulf by praying like this:

To the water, whales, dolphins, pelicans, fishes, shellfishes, planktons, corals, algae and all creatures in our Gulf of Mexico:

I apologize.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you."

I look forward to having the power of many people meditating in my home, I hope that this gathering will bring good energy into my home and outwards into society.

Our next leader is just one person.

They can only do so much.

How about we all change our own and help others to change their hearts and minds. How bout we all open to grace? Isn't our nation just the whole of its parts? Lets take the time, love and energy to do the truly right thing. One person at a time. It's easy to vote (which we should all do) but it's much tougher to slow down, practice, open and then assist others in their opening. More open hearts = a more peaceful world! There's just no easy way out here. We must truly engage, love, practice, listen, pray, hug, love, help and open.

~ E.V.

I will first silently, then aloud, do a meditation for the removal of illusion and promotion of personal, family, national, and world peace through Durga mantras from the heart with the hands in actively projecting heart communication mudra, basicly a peace sign with hands at shoulder level and the thumb over the nails of the venus and mercury fingers

~ V.T.

Last night, I envisioned the water inside of me—all 80-something percent of me. There were places where my own cellular waters were sludgy and stuck. As I moved through these sticky spots, I offered healing and love to them, imagining their sacred journey back to the ocean when they evaporate from my body. Perhaps when they arrive back to that sacred origin of the great global sea, they will contribute to the healing of the massive Ma.
