In Playa Negra, Costa Rica, we Celebrated our Love with a Spiritual Union.
The day of our wedding, 11/11/2011, was a greatly significant day.
The number 11 represents spiritual fullfilment and perfect Union (or Yoga).
The digits of this date add up to 8, which is the numerical symbol of Infinity, Prana (the life force as breath), inspired partnership, abundance, and fearlessness in Love.
This day is a c
atalyst for a new way of Being. It is a metaphor for the great Cosmic Creation-ship: Shiva (Pure Consciousness) and Shakti (Creative Power) together dancing the Universal Om. In that Lila (sacred play) all material nature unfolds. Through their dance, sound vibration ignites the fires of Creation.
The number 1 is the number of one's finite identity (I am), and 11 is the number of one's True Nature as Infinite potential. (I Am That I Am).
As yogin's, we recognize our Selves as BEings of Ultimate Love by reflecting the Beauty of each other. In relationship, we recognize our Divine Nature. We each are the witness that allows the other to be fully realized as Infinite Love.
Our beautiful Celebration was officiated by Unity Ministers (and Mardo's sister and brother-in-love) Anne Margaret and Anthony Wood.
They created an atmosphere of joy, light, and Love with their blessings of spiritual growth and abundant happiness.
Surprised and delighted at every turn, we reveled in the miracle of each other,
two lovers merging to become the Beloved.
Together, we honor the Source of our Love.
